Netflix has streamed the first official trailer of The Gray Man, a blockbuster starring a trio of stars consisting of Ryan Gosling as The Gray Man of the title, Chris Evans as the sociopath who chases him, and Ana De Armas, which helps the protagonist in his mission. The film is directed by the Russo brothers.

Based on the novel of the same name written by Mark Greaney, The Gray Man follows the story of Court Gentry (Gosling), a former CIA agent now a murderer in the pay of the highest bidder who hunts around the world for his former superior Lloyd Hansen (Evans ). "The Gray Man is a spy movie. For fans of The Winter Soldier, it is a similar movie in the sense that we are trying to fit it into a very modern and current environment that we are facing globally between spy networks and the CIA. Commenting on the choice of Chris Evans as a villain, the two directors said: "We didn't have to convince Chris to choose the role; Chris convinced us, in a way," Joe Russo told Den of Geek. "We talked to him, as we were wrapping up Infinity War and then Avengers: Endgame, about what his future was or where he wanted to go in his career, and he said, 'You know what? I'm quite comfortable in my life. and in the work, I've done that I'm interested in taking risks in the future, and I'd just like to play inspiring characters. 'So it seemed obvious to us that the right move would have been to offer Chris a sociopath and not a hero role. "
The Gray Man will be released in selected cinemas on July 13, 2022, and then land on the Netflix digital platform on July 22.
