Deoghar Ropeway Accident: Tourist dropped from a helicopter, rescue operation stopped at present, 12 people still trapped in Deoghar ropeway
The accident happened during the ongoing rescue operation on Trikoot in Deoghar. A tourist from the helicopter fell into the gorge below. Due to this, the person died. The rescue operation has been stopped for the time being due to darkness. Now 12 people are trapped in Deoghar ropeway.
So far 38 people have been rescued in the accident that happened due to the breakdown of the ropeway at Trikoot, 22 km from Deoghar. But still, around 12 people are trapped. The rescue operation is going on with the help of an army helicopter on Monday. An accident happened during this rescue operation. Actually, a person was being taken out of the trolley and taken inside the helicopter. Then the man lost his hand and he fell down into the ditch. The man who fell from the helicopter has died. At present 12 people are trapped in three trolleys. The rescue operation has been called off due to darkness. So far two people have died in this accident.
According to the information received, during the rescue operation, a person was brought out of the stuck trolley and the rescue team was being brought on a Chetak helicopter. The man lost his hand only while being brought on the helicopter. Due to this, the person fell down into the ditch. Due to this, the person died. Even today the rescue operation is not over. At present, 12 people are trapped in three trolleys at Trikoot. Efforts are being made to provide food and water to these people trapped for more than 24 hours.
Air Force and NDRF personnel have commanded this operation to rescue the people trapped on Trikoot. People are being pulled out of trolleys stuck at a height of 2000 feet very fast. But the trolley number 19 is stuck in the toughest. The depth of the ground is very high in this place. The rescue operation team says that in such a situation, it cannot be rescued from the ground side. In this rescue, an air rescue operation is being run by helicopter.
