Story:
A girl who is a poor brilliant student in Gurudeva Deshmukh's college accidentally commits suicide. With this, Gurudev fights the Education Minister who is a carafe of corruption and in this sequence, Arjun stands by Prakash Raj. What has Arjun got to do with him? Will Arjun win this fight? Plus points:
The major highlight of the film is Puneet Rajkumar, whose entry runs through the film as a one-man show. Already Puneet is known to be good talented. It also shows all the techniques that came to him.
Apart from that the different look seen in it is a bit more mass and new than in his previous films. Also, some of the episodes that Prakash Raj walked for him were good. Elements of Mass Audiences are also much to the liking of those who want Mass Meals.

Minus points:
The film manages to entertain as well as inform. The whole story seems to have been deliberately infiltrated on a single hero role. Also, another big drawback is the lack of proper chemistry for the heroine Sayesha and Puneet but the scenes that contribute to it.
The story along with these. Adding unnecessary scenes that are not necessary for the subject over which there is nothing new in the story is another frustrating aspect. Even the climax is not as big as the convenience. Another surprise is that Thaman's background score seems a bit exaggerated. That means it feels over well with too much sounding.
Technical Category:
The film is the first in the technical category for a production company. Humble, who gave a solid film like Kejriwal, also gave the film superior production values. Thaman music is overall good for this movie. Venkatesh Anurag Cinematography is good. But if Gnanesh Matad's editing work was even better it would have been better if all the unnecessary scenes had been cut with some slow-motion shots and some scenes in the second half.
When it comes to director Santosh... At first one may think that this movie will be a pucca mass entertainer but he tried to give a good message along with the mass. The core line he has written on education policy these days is good but it is sad that he is not able to present it properly with mass elements. If he had presented this commercial angle himself in another version the output would have been different.
Verdict:
Overall, Puneet, the main lead in this "Yuvarathnaa", has put in a good effort. He gave good output in everything including his full mass angle as well as Adire Dance. Also, many of the mass elements are good but do not seem so convincing to the message presentation made by the director to this movie line. For those who want mass elements aside from this logic, this movie is a must-try.
