What's good:
Ishan Khattar spoke his tapori accent well. The main highlight of the film is the Gully Boy Look in Mumbai. He also provided good entertainment with his comedy timing. Especially his dialogue delivery and expressions brought a very good comedy in the film. Ananya Pandey has done well compared to her previous films. She also played her role very easily while she looked beautiful.
There are good fun scenes in the first part. and the humor produced by the situational comedy is also very good. The narrative is also good. The film play has involved most of the audience in the role syndrome.
Zakir Hussain and Satish Kaushik have been impressed with their roles. There are also some good night visuals in the film and Mumbai's crazy nightlife is well shown.
What's not good:
Some scenes in the second half of the film were very slow. Some scenes also become a headache. Although the main couple has played well, there is no point in the story and there is nothing more to do in the story. Also, the way the film is finished will also spoil the movie's mood.
The theme of the film is also a little old. In addition, what is going to happen in the second part can be guessed? Vishal Shekhar's music and bejiam are not good at all. It disappoints the audience. Satish Kaushik is a good actor, but his track in the film irritates the audience.
Final Verdict:
Overall, 'Khaali Peeli' is a mass masala film, the first half is good, but the second half fails to impress. But the situational comedy and the actors are good. But the simple story and the incorrect screenplay has hurt the output of the film. You can watch this movie if you want to pass the time. This is not a movie that is specially timed and watched.
