Suhas, who played the role of a hero friend in 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' and 'Majili', is introducing himself as the hero in the movie 'Color Photo'. Chandni Chaudhary is the heroine. Sunil plays the villain as her elder brother. The movie was released on the popular Telugu streaming app "Aha" at 6 pm today. The show has seemed a bit unfocused in recent episodes. Looking at it and giving a review!
Jayakrishna (Suhas) is black. But, good boy. At first glance, Deepu alias Deepti (Chandini Chaudhary) falls in love with him. But, don’t tell the girl the thing. He hides the feeling in his mind that he is no black. Seniors victimize Jayakrishnan and hit him in front of everyone in the college, making contact with Deepu. Then turns into love. Deepu's elder brother Essai Ramaraju (Sunil), who is against love and lovers, knows this. What happened next? Is the rest of the movie.
Suhas was more impressed with the performance than with the comedy. To be honest, there is no scope for comedy in his character except for one or two scenes. But, he did well in the emotional scenes. Did full justice to his character. Chandni Chowdhury, who played the heroine, impressed with her natural performance. The screen presence is good. The climax makes the audience cry in the scenes. Sunil showed different vilinism. Viva Harsha impresses with her comedy timing and dialogues. In the character of Sunil's wife, Srividya played the role of the heroine's friend to the extent of the divine character. The rest of the cast is okay. Well done as long as.
Music director Kala Bhairava in the technical department is a major plus point for the film. The songs are good. The melodies seem to be heard again and again. The background music is meant to elevate the emotion in the scenes. The cinematography is neat.
The story given by producer cum writer Sai Rajesh Neelam includes Pure Love Story, Color Conflict. Director Sandeep Raj wrote better dialogues for it. But, the treatment could not be written to impress everyone in the audience. In addition, as the climax approaches, the emotion seems to be over. What’s more, the scenes feel stretched.
Although Pure Love Story, it's worth thinking a bit about watching it with kids. Double meaning dialogues appear in a comedy scene. In another emotional scene, the word whore is tossed around. Love track should be highlighted for every love story. For that love, the track is not as strong. The heroine did not initially show a strong reason to fall in love. Therefore, the audience could not connect with certain scenes. Faceoff started decently but seems to have stretched later. The interval does not move forward until the card.
The director could not completely elevate the feeling of love in the story. Emotional scenes handled well. Venkat R. Shakhamuri cinematography is good. The film manages to entertain as well as inform. As mentioned earlier, Kalabhairava's songs and background score are a plus for the film. Kodati Pawan Kalyan Editing Just OK. Interval, pre-climax stretch scenes need to be trimmed a bit. Production values are good.
Although the love track in this movie, which came as Pure Love and Emotional Entertainer, is not so impressive, the emotional scenes are like heart touching. Lead pair Suhas and Chandni Chowdhury impress with their performances. Their acting and Kala Bhairava music are a plus for the film. But, the drama is getting bigger... The movie is not going to be interesting with boring treatment. The film manages to entertain as well as inform, with some pluses and minuses. Forwarding can be seen in the OTT.
