Jurassic World: Dominion not only shows the well-known tropical islands, but also rather unusual climates for the Dino series. Also, director Colin Trevorrow confirmed the return of a character from Jurassic World 2.
So far, the makers of the Jurassic Park series have not been known for their love of experimentation. Somehow, the films in the franchise always boil down to someone bringing dinosaurs back and that turns out to be a bad idea.

Most of the time the plot takes place on a secluded tropical island, only in Jurassic World 2: Fallen Kingdom was there a bit of variety thanks to the settings in a huge manor house. And apparently in Jurassic World 3: Dominion atypical climates are to be explored again.
DINOS IN THE SNOW?
Director Colin Trevorrow posted a picture of the filming of Jurassic World 3 on Twitter, which clearly takes place in a snowy landscape. The main thing was to start a Twitter trend that shows people from film, television, entertainment, and art at work in these difficult times.
For franchise fans, however, it is much more interesting than the series is entering snow and ice for the first time. It is unclear, however, whether in Jurassic World 3 the dinosaurs frolic in frosty climes, after all, they are classically classified as warm or cold-blooded animals that would not survive long in ice and snow (even if newer findings suggest that at least some Dinos also lived in cold areas).

MAISIE IS BACK
Also interesting: With the picture, Trevorrow also confirms the return of the Maisie Lockwood played by Isabella Sermon. In Jurassic World 2, this turned out to be - ATTENTION, SPOILER - an artificially created clone with which villain Benjamin Lockwood (James Cromwell) wanted to bring his late daughter back.
At the end of the Fallen Kingdom, Maisie releases all the dinosaurs locked in the house because she feels connected to them. But the story of the young clone is obviously not over yet. So it will be interesting to see what Trevorrow has in mind with the figure. According to Trevorrow, there will no longer be any more cloned dinosaurs or lizard people.
Jurassic World: Dominion will be released in cinemas on June 21, 2021.
