After "Wayward Pines" M. Night Shyamalan is dedicated to a new series project: This time he stages several episodes of the sinister mystery series "Servant" for the new streaming service Apple TV +.

That M. Night Shyamalan, who became world-famous with "The Sixth Sense" and lastly with his stubborn superhero crossover "Glass" celebrated successes, is involved in series production for Apple, has been known for almost 2 years.

Now that Apple TV + is around the corner and therefore in the middle of the marketing offensive, now not only first details about the story of "Servant" are announced, but also released two first mini trailer.

The first trailer can be found above these lines, the second directly here:

THAT'S WHY IT'S IN "SERVANT"

Sean (Toby Kebbell) and Dorothy (Lauren Ambrose) are a happy couple: just married and blessed with a gorgeous newborn. To relieve them engage the Nanny Leanne Grayson (Nell Tiger Free), which should take care of the child. But with their attitude, the evil takes its course. Suddenly, an uncanny power is noticeable and a very disquieting relationship develops between nanny and baby. The mysterious Julian Pearce (Rupert Grint), who suddenly appears on the scene, seems to have something to do with it.

SHYAMALAN AND "HOTEL BABYLON" MAKERS CLAIM FOR APPLE

The whole thing already sounds like typical stuff for Shyamalan. The series was developed and written by author Tony Basgallop ("Hotel Babylon"). Shyamalan, on the other hand, staged at least two of the ten episodes and acts as executive producer. Incidentally, this does not represent his first foray into serial production. He also produced the mystery thriller series "Wayward Pines", which ended after two seasons despite very good response.

Although it is not yet officially confirmed that "Servant" will be part of the Apple TV + program right at the beginning, we expect it to be due to the launch of the series' advertising initiative. The strategy of the streaming provider sees - unlike z. For example, Netflix - not a full season release in one go. Instead, you want to initially put mostly 3 episodes online and publish the rest every week.

The first season of "Servant" will count 10 half-hour episodes each.

Apple TV + will be launched on November 1st, 2019 and will cost € 4.99 a month. Up to six family members will be able to share an account.
