"Star Wars 9: The Rise of Skywalker" should be more than just the next "Star Wars" movie. Because Disney and Lucasfilm have decided to complete the Skywalker saga. That does not mean that no new star wars will come to the cinema (after a break it will continue in 2022). However, episode 9 will end in the fatal family story that begins in "Star Wars 1 - The Dark Threat" with little Anakin - and ends the fight with Jedi. Sith. How does the Emperor come back, whose nasty laugh sounded at the end of the first trailer and we hear in the new preview ("Your journey is nearing its end")? How big is the role of General Leia after Carrie Fisher dies in 2016 and her role is assembled from archival material? And who are the perhaps not so insignificant parents of Rey? After all, Daisy Ridley promised that there would be clarity after "Episode 9".
"STAR WARS 9" SHOULD MAKE ROUGH SKIN
As far as the content is concerned, great expectations on the shoulders of director and author J.J. Abrams, who decided after the exit Colin Trevorrow's still to finish the trilogy he started. But "Star Wars" is much more than a plot.
