'WandaVision': The first 'concept art' hints at the original Scarlet Witch costume for the Disney + series
The Marvel title for Disney's 'streaming' platform with Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany opens in spring 2021.
Although the first series of Marvel for Disney + will be The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, to be released in autumn 2020, we must not forget the next one, WandaVision, which will be released on the streaming platform in spring 2021. Paul Bettany (Han Solo: A Star Wars Story) and Elizabeth Olsen (Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness) will repeat as Vision and Scarlet Witch and we can already show you official concept art, revealed during the recent D23 Expo in Anaheim, California.
As the rumors pointed, and once seen the poster, everything indicates that Disney + fiction with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) will focus on both characters and their experiences in a fantasy world, idyllic and familiar, set in what seems to be the 50-60s. Will it become the I love you, Lucy or The Dick Van Dyke Show at Marvel Studios?
If you look closely, the protagonists seem delighted on the poster, sitting on a sofa while watching television. But keep looking! At his back, you will see the shadows of Vision and Scarlet Witch and the latter seems to wear the iconic headband of his original costume in the comics. In addition, WandaVision will immediately connect with the movie Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the sequel to the Marvel Supreme Wizard who embodies Benedict Cumberbatch (Avengers: Endgame).
