Young rebel star Prabhas' film "Adipurush", which was announced to be released on Sankranthi in 2023, is not coming on time. Saying that the team needs some more time to provide a wonderful visual experience to the audience, the film has been postponed for another five months and a new release date has been announced.
It is needless to say that the teaser of "Adipurush" which was released on the occasion of Dasara was trolled on social media. They criticized that the VFX was inferior, the graphics were bad, and that it was a motion capture picture and that it was showing a cartoon movie.
Bollywood director Om Raut is making a film 'Adipurush' based on the epic Ramayana. However, there were objections to showing the roles of Ram - Sita - Ravana - Hanuman, which is known to everyone so far, differently in the teaser. Many politicians and Hindutva got serious about the looks of the main characters.
It is alleged that the portrayal of characters is meant to hurt the sentiments of Hindus. It was criticized that the character of Ravana, a devotee of Lord Shiva, was shown to resemble Alauddin Khilji - Aurangzeb getups.
Along with Prabhas's look in the role of Rama, there were objections - trolls about showing monkeys as dolls, and Anjaneyu wearing a cloth similar to a leather jacket. Politicians have warned that objectionable scenes should be removed, otherwise legal action will be taken.
In this context, it is being heard that the makers have decided to modify the looks of the characters in the movie 'Adipurush' after considering the opinions of movie fans - common people - analysts, and celebrities. It is known that some more time was taken for this purpose.
It is reported that efforts are being made to digitally remove Ravana's character's beard in the film. Moreover, the whole team is working to show the other characters better. Also, it seems that they are working hard to give a better visual experience by paying more attention and making better VFX.
