Liger Movierulz - Boxing backdrop movies are very less in Telugu but there are also excellent movies like Srihari's Bhadrachalam, and Pawan Kalyan's Tammudu, but after a long gap dashing filmmaker Puri Jagannath came up with this theme and the story starts with regular Puri Jagannath as the hero, an action sequence, Later the story shifts to Mumbai where we see some drama between Balamani and Ligar but we get bored with the theater after some time Puri Jagannadh is known for his hero characterization and thought-provoking dialogues. Liger has a lot but not enough for a pan-India picture.
Liger Movierulz - The first half is okay but not very engaging as Puri Jagannath seems to have stretched all the drama and love story in the first half so that he can focus the entire second half with boxing sequences and a Mike Tyson scene but it feels misfired. The core emotion is not ripe in the first half and affects the second half, but the first half could have been worked out if some scenes were cut.
Liger Movierulz - Vijay Deverakonda as liger has done very well with a stammer in many scenes and we have to appreciate his make-over to look like a boxer, Ananya Pandey has no scope of acting, Ramakrishna as Balamani has done very well, her body language, dialogue delivery are all done brilliantly, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy, Ali, Makarand Desh Pandey, and Getup Srinu have done well in their roles.
Puri Jagannadh is known for his take, hero characterization, and dialogues, Puri mark can be seen in this movie but not like in his old movies, this time he focused more on the story than the hero, however, he succeeded in hooking the audience.
Technically Liger is amazing, production values look rich in every frame, cinematography by Vishnu Sharma is good and the background score of the film is done by different music directors from Bollywood and supervised by Azim Dayani, the songs are not that great, the background score is good and the rest of the technical departments do their best.
Finally, Liger is an engaging boxing drama that can be watched by all sections of the audience and is a visual feast for Vijay Deverakonda fans.
