It's been four years since "Black Panther" - with great success - was shown in cinemas. The sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is just around the corner.
Actually, the blockbusters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe are always linked to lots of fun, action, and spectacular adventures. It won't be any different with "Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever", but in this case, there is also a good deal of melancholy. The reason for this is the death of Chadwick Boseman from cancer, who took on the leading role of T'Challa as "Black Panther" and was able to inspire many Marvel fans with his charisma. Here you can see the first trailer for the MCU blockbuster:
The first trailer then also puts this melancholy in the foreground, as it is a largely music-driven and very emotional affair.
"Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever" is again directed by Ryan Coogler and is scheduled to start in cinemas in the USA on November 11, 2022.

A NEW "BLACK PANTHER"
Since the character of T'Challa is not supposed to be recast but died in the MCU, there will be another Black Panther. W'Kabi (played by Daniel Kaluuya) is dropped as a contender for the role of the superhero in the jet-black suit, as it was confirmed a while ago that the actor will no longer be part of "Wakanda Forever" due to time constraints. Instead, it will probably be decided between Shuri (Letitia Wright), ie T'Challa's sister, and M'Baku (Winston Duke).
Except various rumors are true, which say that there are several Black Panthers to see in the course of the film. At the end of the first trailer, however, only one character is teased who wears the suit - whereby it is deliberately kept secret who is behind it.
FIRST PICTURES OF ATLANTIS IN THE TRAILER!
Narcos: Mexico star Tenoch Huerta also stars as Namor in the trailer. Namor is the arrogant king of Atlantis, one of the oldest superheroes ever. This was part of the Avengers, the Illuminati, and the X-Men in the comics. Often referred to as the first mutant, he is the son of a human father and an Atlantean princess.
The legendary lost city of Atlantis will also play a major role in Black Panther 2 itself. Wakanda and Atlantis have a history of violent conflict. The trailer already shows a military conflict between the two people. The barbaric warlord Attuma (Josué Maychi) will also play an important role here.
