Akshay Kumar and Manushi Chhillar's film 'Prithviraj' and Adivi Sesh's film 'Major' are releasing on June 3, let's know what Adivi Sesh said on the clash with this film.
Adivi Sesh's film 'Major' is going to release on June 3, with two more big films coming up on this day. Kamal Haasan's film Vikram and Akshay Kumar's film Prithviraj. When Adivi Sesh was asked about this clash, he gave a funny answer. Talking to the media, Adivi said- "I think if we talk practically, Major is the biggest film in Telugu, Vikram is the biggest film in Tamil and Prithviraj is the biggest film in Hindi. But where there are big fish in the sea, we are goldfish.
Fans were very happy with Adivi's reply. 'Major' actor Adivi Sesh also talked about spending time with Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan's family during the making of the film. Speaking at the launch of the song 'Oh Isha' from 'Major', the actor told the media that we persuaded Chacha and Amma (Major Sandeep's parents) to meet once. Chacha called me a couple of times when I tried to contact him first, then a girl from our team spoke to him so that she could agree to talk to us. Eventually, he agreed to meet us.
Sesh told me that when I met him, he told me that many filmmakers from Bollywood or even Malayalam cinema had tried to contact him, but he refused every time because they all made this impression, that they were doing us a favor. He felt it was a genuine effort on our part to portray his son's story.
The actor said that during the filming, his uncle and Amma became his family. I may not be the main off-screen major but I can try to be his second son.
He said that we have also dubbed the film in Malayalam in honor of the great man as he was from Kerala. There were no commercial considerations regarding this decision.
'Major' is set to release in Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam cinemas on June 3.
