The trailer for Spider-Man 3: No Way Home shows the upper body of a man who many fans thought was Matt Murdock / Daredevil. But now the face of the character has been revealed in the IMAX trailer and the theory has been finally denied
The rumor that Charlie Cox will appear in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and will revive his role as Matt Murdock from the series "Daredevil" has been around for a while now. When a mysterious person appeared in the trailer for the upcoming Marvel film, whose head could not be seen in the frame, and whose appearance suggests that it may be a lawyer, she was fired again. Many fans, therefore, believed that the "Spider-Man: No Way Home" trailer actually shows Matt Murdock, who, in addition to his superhero identity as Daredevil, also works as a lawyer.
Recently, however, Charlie Cox denied that the person in question was him or Matt Murdock. And if anyone had any doubts about the words of the Daredevil actor, now comes the final confirmation: As part of the IMAX screenings of the current Marvel film "Shang-Chi", a somewhat larger format version of the trailer is apparently being shown. The Twitter user @Gymblonski saw them and explained:
Unfortunately, the said IMAX variant, which probably only differs from the already known trailer in terms of the visible image section, was not uploaded anywhere on the Internet from an official website. Instead, the user showed the material filmed from the cinema screen as proof, which we are not allowed to show you here for legal reasons. On the net, however, the video is already circulating on a wide variety of channels and numerous other observers who have seen the clip confirm that the suspect is not Charlie Cox.

Charlie Cox fans don't have to give up hope now. It's still possible that Matt Murdock will appear later in the film. However, we do not expect Daredevil to be an important part of the plot of "Spider-Man: No Way Home". There's just too much other crazy multiverse stuff going on for that.
The integration of the other two Spider-Man universes with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as additional variants by Peter Parker offers enough unbelievable guest appearances: We have already seen Alfred Molina as Doc Ock and the Green Goblin has too announced in the trailer.
So Matt Murdock may be introduced into the Marvels cinema universe at the end of the film - even if only in a post-credit scene. Then the way would also be free for the announcement of a Daredevil film with the actors from the series, which has been rumored about since Marvel got the rights to the character back from Netflix.
