The Mandalorian: Baby Yoda is the King on the new posters and in the teaser for the second season of the 'Star Wars' series

Four character posters for the second season of the Disney+ series "The Mandalorian" have been released. The posters are quite unspectacular, but at least Baby Yoda fans are likely to get their money's worth – just like in the new teaser.

For the fact that "The Mandalorian" is the streaming service's only major flagship when it comes to reproduced series, even a year after the US launch of Disney+, the advertising department is surprisingly unconcerned – you might think if you look at the four new character posters that show only well-known characters:

The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal), ex-rebel Cara Dune (Gina Carano), guild chief Greef Karga (Carl Weathers), and of course the popular little racker who became an internet sensation and who also outshines everyone else with his cuteness in this poster series - just like in this new "The Mandalorian" teaser:

SERIES HIT "THE MANDALORIAN"

However, not much more needs to be done in advance to fuel the anticipation of the second season of "Mandalorian" – the "Star Wars" series, along with the spin-off film "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," is one of the most popular, which has spawned the saga since Disney bought Lucasfilm.

This popularity is not solely due to Baby Yoda. It may have something to do with showrunner Jon Favreau and his team anchoring the "Mandalorian" story in the well-known saga, throwing threads at the popular animated series while telling a fresh, rough, and exciting bounty hunt.

The second season of "The Mandalorian" will begin on Friday, October 30, 2020, on Disney+.

According to the current state of play, at least four seasons are planned. In Season 2, fans of the animated series "The Clone Wars" and "Rebels" can look forward to the first live-action performance of Ahsoka Tano, Anakin Skywalker's former Padawan student, played by Rosario Dawson. Also, news about the dark sword, and the bloody history of the Mandalorians is to be expected.
