Original costumes, new comic book characters, a different narrative, and style... Here are some of the details that have been discovered in the new breakthrough.
Disney+ has released the first official trailer for Scarlet Witch and Vision, Marvel Studios' first real action series to see the light, during the 72nd Emmy Awards. This preview has shown, in addition to the original costumes of Scarlet Witch and Vision during the Silver Age of comics, some of the new characters of the title such as that of Kathryn Hahn.
A REALITY VERY DIFFERENT FROM MARVEL'S CINEMATIC UNIVERSE
Little is known about this atypical Marvel fiction, which has nothing to do with anything we've seen from the superhero franchise to date. The trailer, you can see it on these lines, begins with the newlywed couple formed by Wanda and Vision, who has just arrived in Westview in the 1950s with a vintage black-and-white aesthetic. Although it is unknown how and how they have gone to this alternative reality, the android once again holds in his possession the gem of the mind.
AGNES, THE ANNOYING NEIGHBOR
Throughout the trailer for the serial, Hahn always appears in different eras; first in the 1950s and then in the 1980s. It seems that the world created by Wanda has managed to drag this character over and over again like the awkward and intersections neighbor Agnes.
Although it has not been confirmed which particular role the actress' character will play in the plot, the final scenes of the clip show her disguised as a witch, which has made rumors about her possible identity grow as Agatha Harkness, a powerful sorceress who served as Wanda's mentor.
MAXIMOFF TWINS IN 'HOUSE OF M'
Previous advances in fiction had given small brushstrokes about the presence of Wanda's children in the series. But, the image of the queen of chaos and the android with a baby each in their arms is the proof that every follower expected to find. In the comics, Tommy and Billy Maximoff are the results of a mixture of Wanda's powers and parts of the essence of Mephisto's life, however, the title will not be raised this way, so we'll have to wait to discover how Marvel Studios solves the equation.
YOUR CONNECTION TO 'CAPTAIN MARVEL'
But, one of the trailer's big surprises comes with the appearance of Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Akira Akbar played this same girl character in Captain Marvel in the 1990s. Now, in WandaVision the young woman is already an adult and has somehow appeared in this world created by Maximoff. In the comics, Monica is endowed with energetic powers and becomes the new Captain Marvel.
Many are the unknowns hidden in the Marvel Studios series for Disney+. The first season consists of six episodes and is expected to be premiered on the streaming platform in late 2020.
