Production for season 4 of the series has not yet resumed.

Stranger Things has become one of the most-watched Netflix original series of all time and around the world. But, like all, its end could be closer than expected. According to the latest rumors, the streaming platform would be in talks to develop a tape about the series that would serve as an outcome.

After the latest testimonials from we Got This Covered sources - the same ones that advanced the prequel to The Witcher and the sequel to Extraction - Netflix would be willing to finish Stranger Things, not with one more season, but with a big-budget film that would tackle all the loose ends of the plot.

Of course, nothing yet is confirmed, and these claims could be contradicted by David Harbour's latest statements, Hooper in fiction, about the confirmation of a fifth season. It's all in the air. The only certainty is that Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp will be back at the helm of the series.

Production of its fourth season remains paralyzed by the current situation by COVID-19, which will cause its premiere of the giant 'online' to be delayed more than planned and already moved by some point in 2021.
