The 20th Century Fox film's release date is set for August 28.
The New Mutants will finally be released this 2020 after two years of its original date. On August 28, the Josh Boone film will hit theaters and to prepare for this awaited premiere 20th Century Fox has released a new preview during the virtual Comic-Con @Home.

In the teaser, which you can see above these lines, we see how each of the young mutants, Magik, Wolfsbane, Cannonball, or Sunspot, show their powers as they fight against the dark forces holding them in a secret facility.

They have also shown the first minutes of The New Mutants where Danielle Moonstar has been seen escaping from what appears to be a huge creature that has killed her father and everything around him. However, she slips and falls down a hill, hitting her head hard.
When she wakes up, she is found handcuffed to a hospital gurney with Wolfsbane watching her from a ventilation shaft. Remember that The New Mutants is still scheduled for release on August 28, despite the situation of the coronavirus.
