The Oscar Awards ceremony, the highest award in the film industry itself, has begun. The ceremony was held at the Dolby Theater in California, USA. For the past two years, the Oscars have been hosted without nominations and winners' announcements. This time it was held as well. Let’s see who gets this prestigious award this time.
The Best Actor Award went to Hollywood actor Joaquin Phoenix. Joaquin Phoenix has made a spectacular performance in 2019's The Joker movie. The film has also been a worldwide blockbuster hit.
Parasite is one of the highlights of the Oscars. The South Korean film received four Oscars in total. It won the Best Picture, Best Direction, Best International Feature Film, and Best Original Screenplay Sections. So far no foreign film has received any Oscars. Another thing is, this time no director's name in the Oscars but the films directed by Female directors are not nominated. Hollywood actress Natalie Portman wowed the Oscars red carpet in a variety gown, supporting Female Directors.
