Artist- Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Messi Kash's acid does not sell, does not get sold or throws up .. This dialogue of Malti is the essence of the entire film. How an acid attack changes a girl's life and the challenges she has to go through are rarely discussed deeply. Most of us regret it by making her the victim. But this film changes the views of the people.

Women who have suffered from acid attacks do not feel sympathetic but want a chance for respect and equality in society. 'Chhapaak' also questions the illegal sale of acid. Meghna Gulzar has kept the seriousness of the subject down to Climax, which can make you restless. At the end of the film where you just have a smile on your face….

Movie story
Malti (Deepika Padukone), who is fighting the needs of life, is an attack victim and is looking for a good job. She knows that she is hardworking and talented, the world believes that she can do a lot. But hesitates to give him a chance. Why? Because his face is deformed due to throwing acid. It does not meet the criteria of the beauty of society.

In such a situation he meets Amol (Vikrant Messi), who has become a social worker from a journalist and runs an NGO. Amol's NGO treats acid attack victims and tries to lead a better life. Malti joins this NGO. At the same time, she raises her voice against the attack on herself and fights her fight against Babaki. It also demands a change in the law to ban acid.

Malti is known nationwide for her PIL. Malti is a student of 12th when Bashir Khan, a boy from the neighborhood, proposes her for marriage. On hearing Malti's refusal, he is determined to take revenge and one day attacks Malti with acid. Malti's life changes in an instant. From a girl playing a laugh, a dreaming girl .. How Malti becomes a stumbling victim and then a self-confident facing challenges and an inspiration to millions .. This journey is worth seeing.

acting
Deepika Padukone played the strongest side of the film as Malti. Malti walks, talks, shouts, laughs, fighting .. Deepika is composed in every sense. Deepika was successful in showing the pain in Malti's eyes and the hope in her heart. There is no doubt that this is one of the best performances of his career. At the same time, Vikrant Messi took the scene in which he appeared as well. Vikrant is a strong actor and that is why he shines even after playing a few minutes in a two-hour film. Amol's character shows the truth, a passion. Madhurjit Saraghi has been effective in the co-stars.

Direction
After the sword, Raazi, Meghna Gulzar has now shown that she has a stronghold on the sensitive subject. Not only the direction, but Meghna Gulzar has also contributed to the writing. The issue of acid attack is not new, but it would not have been easy to present the subject in a commercial manner. Through the story of Laxmi Aggarwal, the director has expressed the pain, courage, faith, and hope of the acid attack Survivor. Although Meghna Gulzar was seen tied somewhere in this story, some scenes were repeated, and some characters were left in half. The story of the film touches your heart, but not for long.

Technical aspect
Amol (Vikrant) says to Malati full of helplessness and resentment- 'Acid dissolves in the mind first, then only comes in the hand ....'. Some of the dialogues written by Atika Chauhan and Meghna Gulzar are very solid and leave a lasting impression. The editing of Nitin Bad could have made the story a bit more agile, making the film's message look more effective. Malay Prakash should be praised for superb cinematography.

music
The music of the film is given by Shankar- Ehsaan- Loy. The good thing is that there are only two songs in the film, so they do not cut the story anywhere. The lyrics (Chhapaak and Nok Jhonk) written by Gulzar further strengthen the film.

See or not see
Must see. Directed by Meghna Gulzar, based on a serious crime like acid attack, the film 'Chhapaak' reveals a frightening reality of society, which needs to be eradicated as soon as possible. This story will make you think along with distracting. 3 stars to the film from Filmbeat.
