Cassie (Carey Mulligan) always hears what a promising woman she is. But a traumatic event in her past leads her to live a double life. In the trailer for "Promising Young Woman" Cassie takes a counter strike:
Cassie (Carey Mulligan) leads a dangerous, nightly double life in the trailer for the drama "Promising Young Woman". Every evening she rushes into the city's discotheques and clubs, mimicking a completely drunk woman. Every time she brings a “nice guy” home, just to want to take advantage of her sexually. Again and again, the men are confronted by Cassie and she is increasingly reinforced in her belief that the type of "nice guy" does not exist.
But why is Cassie doing this to her? The promising medical student suffers from sexual trauma from her studies and was thrown out of her professional career. Now it is time for them to take revenge on their tormentor and maybe still be able to close with the past.
Director Emerald Fennell gathered in "Promising Young Woman" with Carey Mulligan ("Drive"), Adam Brody ("Thank You For Smoking"), Alfred Molina ("Spider-Man 2"), Christopher Mintz-Plasse ("Kick-Ass "), Clancy Brown (" The Mandalorian "), Connie Britton (" American Horror Story "), Jennifer Coolidge (" 2 Broke Girls "), Max Greenfield (" New Girl ") and Molly Shannon (" Hotel Transylvania ") impressive ensemble.
"Promising Young Woman" does not have an Indian launch date yet.
