"Guardians Of The Galaxy" director James Gunn is currently working on "The Suicide Squad" for DC, after which he is finally devoting himself to the third part of his Marvel film series. We already know that about "Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3":
After their appearance on the side of the other heroes in "Avengers 4: Endgame" is again "Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3" before a solo adventure of the Guardians. This is supposed to be a preliminary conclusion, which brings the development of the title heroes to an end and the "Guardians" series within the MCU as the last part of the trilogy concludes. It is not known if further films with the heroes are planned afterward.

Director James Gunn, who also released the first two parts due to age, tasteless tweets, was reinstated in March 2019 and will be part of the third adventure of Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), Groot (voice: Vin Diesel) and Co. directed. For him "Guardians Of The Galaxy 3" will definitely be the last outing with Star-Lord and his daring crew. Gunn confirmed on Instagram that he did not want to make any more films with the audience favorites (via CinemaBlend).
Before the crosshead, however, for the competition of DC, the comic book adaptation "The Suicide Squad" bring to the screen. Since Marvel has already presented his final release calendar for the years 2020 and 2021, we can assume that "Guardians Of The Galaxy 3" will be released at the beginning of 2022 at the earliest.
THAT'S WHY IN "GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 3"
After Chris Pratt's star lord made acquaintance with his producer in "Guardians Of The Galaxy 2", part three of the rumor has it that Rocket (voice: Bradley Cooper, drama: Sean Gunn) has the fate. The angry guard bear is alleged to have been created in the MCU as an experiment by the High Evolutionary, a scientist whose work attempts to lift animals to the next level of evolution (Comic Book reported). Gunn already hinted that Rocket's backstory in the movie will be a lot worse than in the comics. So we have an emotional meeting coming up.
Also, Drax (Dave Bautista) is to collide in "Guardians 3" with a figure from his past: The giant learns that his daughter was not murdered as assumed by Ronan (Lee Pace), but is still alive. Star-Lord is currently building a friendship with Nebula (Karen Gillan). What Mantis (Pom Klementieff) and Groot will do in the film is not yet known.
WHAT IS WITH GAMORA?
At the end of "Avengers 4: Endgame," it looked as if the Guardians would first look for Gamora (Zoe Saldana). The version of Gamora we all know from the "Guardians" movies that accepted their feelings for Star-Lord at the end of "Guardians 2" and confessed their love to them in "Avengers: Infinity War" was written by Thanos (Josh Brolin) was killed for the Soul Stone, but an earlier version of Gamora exists in the current Marvel timeline.
This traveled with Thanos in the present and participated in the battle against the evil Titan. However, after the battle won, this Gamora disappeared. It will be interesting to see how their comrades and especially Star-Lord deal with the fact that the new or old Gamora is not their girlfriend, but an earlier version with no memories of their time together.
Lady Gaga and Thor in "Guardians Of The Galaxy 3"?
Already aboard the spaceship Benatar, however, is another hero with a prominent father and stooping sibling: Thor (Chris Hemsworth) has left Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) the leadership of his people and instead set out with the Guardians to new adventures. Whether he actually becomes a permanent member of the Guardians in the search for his destiny, or that they are already putting him out on the next possible planet, is not clear. At the latest in "Thor 4", which appears before "Guardians Of The Galaxy 3", we should already get an idea of how the Asgard integrates into his new environment.
Especially fans of "A Star Is Born" can look forward to the second new signing at the Guardians. Rumor has it that none other than Lady Gaga is in a speaking role as Rocket's great love, Otter Dame Lylla. Thus, she is again in the space adventure with Bradley Cooper, her heart sheet from "A Star Is Born", turtle.
"Guardians Of The Galaxy 3" is expected to be released in 2022 in Indian cinemas.
