David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are working on new "Star Wars" films. New information suggests that the "GoT" makers will not have as much to do with it as often thought. Meanwhile, Rian Johnson ("Star Wars 8") continues to work on his trilogy.
"Star Wars 9: The Rise of Skywalker" launches on December 18, 2019. After the completion of the nine-movie story of Anakin Skywalker and his descendants, a three-year "Star Wars" cinema episode begins.
