The first installment is now available in full on Amazon Prime Video since last July 26 but many fans have already devoured it completely.
It has only been a week in the Amazon Prime Video catalog, but The Boys is making a very good impression among the viewers and, so much so, that many have already devoured it completely. The television adaptation of the famous comic series has a more than remarkable 81% in Rotten Tomatoes based on almost 70 reviews, so we can say that the good reception among experts is more than agreed.
The truth is that the fiction of the streaming platform has ingredients to catch you: it is hooligan, it is fun, it has action, few hairs on the tongue, a series of really attractive characters and it is a twist to the increasingly appreciated genre of superheroes.
With the eight episodes that make up his season already available on Amazon Prime Video, its creator Eric Kripke has considered that he can already advance the first details of the second season, which was officially commissioned before the premiere of the first. The 'showrunner' of fiction has advanced what will be the core of season 2 of The Boys in statements to Entertainment Weekly.

"You know that Stillwell's death is going to be a big part of season 2 and the superheroes will be in the army," says Kripke. "I always try to write a season finale as if I were the driver of the next one and make sure that whatever we are talking about at the end are things that we are interested in trying next year."
In addition, according to Kripke, the second season will gain in intensity: "We have this particularity in the series that continues to reflect reality. People are now afraid of crossing the border and there are those who feel that they should go to war, and Suddenly the world is a much more intense place than it used to be. And so is our season 2 ".
Produced by Seth Rogen and Eric Kripke, the series stars Karl Urban and Jack Quaid as the leader of the corrupt anti-hyper hero group The Boys and their latest recruit. Also in the cast are Jennifer Esposito, Elisabeth Shue, Karen Fukuhara, Anthony Starr, Dominique McElligott, Jesse Usher, Chance Crawford, Laz Alonso, Tomer Kapon, Nathan Mitchell and Erin Moriarty.
