Director Justin Lin shares all the work behind a production like this.
Fast & Furious 9 is taking the action that characterizes the saga to another level and that is not easy. During SuperBowl, we could see a trailer for the new installment of the franchise that promises us more fast-paced scenes, and, now, director Justin Lin has taken it upon himself to remind us of all the coordination behind the cameras in a movie like this.
Through his official Twitter account, he has shared a clip where he shows the work involved in making a scene of only 4 seconds, which appears in the preview. In the scene in question, we see a car speeding down a straight street. Suddenly, the car turns around and collides with a store, crosses it, and hits a truck that was passing on the other side.
"4 seconds flat on Fast & Furious 9. 8 months of preparation. 4 days of production. 3 cars destroyed. The work of more than a hundred members of the most talented and dedicated team. The best work in the world!", writes Lin in the description.
An action that could with any of us but to which Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Nathalie Emmanuel, Helen Mirren, and Sung Kan are more than used to after so many years giving life to their characters.
Lin seems to have no limits when it comes to producing a feature film. In a recent interview, Vin Diesel acknowledged that the director is capable of making anything that he asks of him come true. "I will not tell any spoilers. I will say that Justin is one of those directors who thinks outside the box. I can give him anything and he will try hard to make it plausible to incorporate it into the story," said the actor and producer.
