The actor planned never to work for the small screen again after his time in the famous History fiction.
Travis Fimmel's dream was to have a farm and not to act or participate in Vikings, a series that managed to lift him to fame. So when he had to quit History's fiction, he promised himself not to work on any more series again.
However, that break lasted little as he currently stars as Raised by Wolves, ridley Scott's series. In a recent interview with Rotten Tomatoes, Fimmel wanted to explain why he has returned to television, despite his desire to leave her:
"I thought I'd never do a TV show again. I wasn't interested. But Ridley is Ridley Scott. I didn't even read the script when I said yes. I just wanted to work with Ridley."
Ridley Scott is the creator, producer, and director of Raised by Wolves, the series that arrives in Spain with TNT this September 10th with a double episode. The story follows Father and Mother, two androids on a mission to raise a child on an unknown planet in a future where Earth has been destroyed.
However, the arrival of more humans with religious beliefs will make androids realize how difficult it is to control beliefs in a rational way. The main cast is completed by Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Jordan Loughran, and Niamh Algar, among others.
