The actress who plays the Scarlet Witch believes that the gem of the mind, which gave her her powers and that Vision was on her forehead, helped in the relationship that both characters have in Avengers: Infinity War.
I thought of Paul [Bettany] (Vision) having the gem of infinity, and that was also what gave me my abilities, I always thought it was something that created this kindred spirit when you feel you have a soulmate. I always thought it was something that made their relationship deeper, heavier, more connected.
When we talk about love or talk about people who are our partners or our soulmates in our human world, there is usually a part of that that we cannot explain. Usually, it's just a feeling you have, a chemical or a feeling that connects two people. And I always answered in my head that the gem was that of Scarlet Witch and Vision.
Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany will play Wanda Maximoff and Vision again in the Disney + WandaVisión series, which is scheduled to premiere in spring 2021.
