The director believes they can get something very interesting if the opportunity presents itself.
Joker will not be in theaters until October 4 and its director, Todd Phillips, says he is open to a sequel if the public responds positively and Warner Bros. returns for more.
"One thing I am going to tell you: I would do anything with Joaquin, any day of the week. There is no one like him. If he aims to do it, if people come to see this and if Warner comes and tells us' You know what? If you can think of something... 'Well, I think he and I could think of something quite interesting. "
At this point thinking about a sequel is not something that has special utility, but it does help us to know that this movie that is very close to its premiere will end so that it can be continued.
If expectations are met Joker is going to be one of the most peculiar comic-based movies in history. We do not know whether for better or worse, but we have been preparing to attend cinemas to experience something totally new and that is always, at the very least, interesting.
