Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, the 'spin-off' of A full gas starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham, includes some surprises for fans of the saga. And they could be more if the project had managed to have one of the actors of the moment: Keanu Reeves.
Before the premiere of the film, there were rumors about the possible signing of the actor of John Wick for the Fast & Furious saga. Rumors that now La Roca has confirmed as true. At least, as far as the actor was the target for a specific role. Johnson has also revealed which character Reeves would have played if he could have joined the film.
In Fast & Furious: Hobbs & Shaw, the protagonists must put aside their differences and unite to face Brixton (Idris Elba), an improved human with cyber implants who works for a terrorist organization known as Eton. In the film, the director of this society does not appear physically, only his altered voice is heard. Some believe that it is Cypher (Charlize Theron), the villain of Fast & Furious 8 - and it is likely that Fast & Furious 9, currently in full shooting, confirms it. However, the Hobbs & Shaw team had Reeves in mind.
