21-year-old Bella Thorne celebrated her breakthrough as an actress with the Disney series "Shake It Up." Now she has also tried for the first time as a director - with a short film for the erotic platform Pornhub!
After some small roles in TV series like "Entourage" or "O.C. California, "Bella Thorne was eventually known by the Disney Channel's sitcom" Shake It Up - Dancing is Everything "alongside" Spider-Man "star Zendaya to a large, primarily young audience. But now the 21-year-old from Florida apparently wants to start as a director. But she makes a very unusual step first: For the dirty movie platform Pornhub she has namely shot the short film "Him & Her". That's what Thorne announced in a behind-the-scenes video posted on Pornhub's YouTube channel:
According to Pornhub Vice President Corey Price, "Her & Him" is a "modernist, sexually explicit, 'Romeo and Juliet' -like the portrayal of a tragic lover with unbridled erotic attraction." And the descriptions of Bella Thorne herself suggest that she as a directorial debut has actually delivered real porn - only with a little more action and a clear artistic approach than usual.
"The shoot was very interesting because we had a lot of live sex on set, which I've never filmed before," Thorne says. Nevertheless (or perhaps because of it), the short film that emerged as part of the "Pornhub Visionaries Director's Club" has become "beautiful and aesthetic". One of the members of the Visionaries Director's Club is US rapper Young M.A., who staged an erotic film especially for women in 2018.
Its premiere will be "Him & Her", in which the two porn stars Abella Danger and Small Hands play the lead roles, at the International Film Festival in Oldenburg, which takes place from 11 to 15 September. The film will then be made available on Pornhub - but only for subscribers.
