Fox's troubling film seems to be in the process of being edited so as not to be a complete disaster.
After what happened with X-Men: Dark Phoenix at Disney, you cannot allow another of Fox's remnants to malfunction in theaters. It seems that this is why The New Mutants have never just arrived, they would be trying to edit in a way that works better than expected from it a few months ago.
Things begin to be heard about the current state of the film by members of some media specialized in genre cinema and as they comment on the current montage, it would be convincing the test audiences to which the film is being shown.
It's hard to know what to expect from a movie with these control projections, but at least it's nice to hear that you're starting to like a movie that seems to point to disaster since its inception.
Now the biggest fear should be that the new direction of the film moves away from the original idea of telling a horror story and on the contrary, we have a new superhero movie with nothing original to contribute.
