Chadwick Boseman died at the age of 42, the actor's representative and Black Panther star. The death of the African-American interpreter comes after four years of a heavy battle against colon cancer, the agency said.

"It was an honor in his career to bring King T'Challa to life in Black Panther 

"He died at home, with his wife and family by his side. 

"His family thanks them for their love and prayers, and asks them to continue to respect their privacy in these difficult times."
