Away is the new series starring Hilary Swank for Netflix. The series is created by Andrew Hinderaker, Jason Katims, and Matt Reeves and is set in outer space. The streaming platform has released the first short teaser and the announcement of its release date on September 4.

This series is the second in Swank's professional career since he was part of the cast of the fictional Camp Wilder in 1992. But this time it won't be a comedy. In Away, the interpreter brings Emma Green, an astronaut who must leave her husband and her daughter on Earth to fulfill a dangerous mission in outer space.

The protagonist commands an international crew bound for Mars, with whom she will have to stay for a year until she reaches the target. The series will explore the personal limits of each of its characters, as well as humanity's willingness to achieve at all costs what it hopes to achieve.
