As reported by journalist Grace Randolph on her Twitter account, the negotiations between the producer and Henry Cavill to return to being Superman is coming to an end. "Postscript, conversations with Henry Cavill [to be Superman] are taking place and I've heard that the deal is going to close soon, maybe very soon," Randolph said.

However, we already know that the recently announced Justice League Snyder Cut will not be filming new scenes with the original cast of the film, so fans have wondered if it would be in a new solo movie.

To this, the journalist replies that it is not yet clear if Cavill's return as Clark Kent will be in a solo movie, or if he will appear in the Black Adam movie that will star Dwayne Johnson.
