Henry Cavill has become very popular on the networks since he starred in the adaptation of The Witcher on Netflix. However, many will remember the actor who played Geralt of Rivia for his role as Superman in the DC movies.

The Man of Steel, Justice League and Batman v Superman weren't particularly blockbusters, but they did manage to reach a good chunk of the public. This caused a somewhat uncertain future for the character of Cavill, although today good news appears for his fans.

As reported by journalist Grace Randolph on her Twitter account, the negotiations between the producer and Henry Cavill to return to being Superman is coming to an end. "Postscript, conversations with Henry Cavill [to be Superman] are taking place and I've heard that the deal is going to close soon, maybe very soon," Randolph said.

However, we already know that the recently announced Justice League Snyder Cut will not be filming new scenes with the original cast of the film, so fans have wondered if it would be in a new solo movie.

To this, the journalist replies that it is not yet clear if Cavill's return as Clark Kent will be in a solo movie, or if he will appear in the Black Adam movie that will star Dwayne Johnson.

Some time ago we learned that new DC movies could be rated R, but nothing is clear yet. We will have to wait for Warner Bros. to announce the announcement of the return of Cavill as Superman.
