The DC superhero solo Movie will be directed by Andy Muschietti ('It: Chapter 2').
It is a reality that DC solo Movie have received a greater reception from the public, than the failed attempt to bring together all the superheroes in the Justice League. Hence, Wonder Woman and Aquaman films have triumphed at the box office, the latter reaching a collection of more than 1,140 million dollars worldwide. However, there is one of them who is resisting seeing the light. We refer to The Flash, the film starring Ezra Miller. But fans of the fast superhero can be somewhat calmer since the actor has assured that the film is "absolutely confirmed."
Part of Warner Bros. and DC Films' original plan was that Barry Allen's solo film was the first premiere after the long film directed by Zack Snyder. However, Miller's commitments to the Fantastic Animals saga and the numerous changes of director and abandonment of the creative team have not made things precisely easy.
Despite this, the actor has said on previous occasions that he had high hopes for this project, he even explained the reasons why he was delaying so much. His statements to W Korea have shed some light on the current situation of this film, which seems, against all odds, is still standing. Other of the projects that he also named was Fantastic Animals 3, of which as expected would be part, and whose premiere in the United States is scheduled for November 12, 2021.
While The Flash begins production, with a script by Christina Hodson (Birds of Prey) and Andy Muschietti (It: Chapter 2) as director, Wonder Woman 1984 - the sequel to Wonder Woman - starring Gal Gadot, arrives at US movie theaters on June 5, 2020. In India, there is still no confirmed date.
