It has turned out that one of the inspirations of the new film of Black Widow is the acclaimed television series Breaking Bad.
In an interview with io9, Kevin Feige, president of Marvel Studios, talked about the benefits of doing a prequel. In particular, he commented that he hopes that Viuda Negra manages to collect some elements of Breaking Bad and his prequel, Better Call Saul. The funny thing is that Feige is still talking about hypothetical ideas since this movie has not been officially announced, despite being filmed in Norway.
"Doing things in unexpected ways is where we find fun." There are ways to do a little informational prequel or answer questions you did not need to know and there are also ways to do a prequel that teach you all kinds of things you did not know before.
Feige referred to Better Call Saul as a perfect example of a prequel that stands on its own and at the same time tells all kinds of things about the universe in which it is set. "This is how we would make a supposed movie of Black Widow".
In related news, Variety has confirmed exclusively that the actor Ray Winstone is the last to join the cast of this hypothetical film of Black Voice.
